(Jonah 1: 5)
Reading the Bible in a Year:
Leviticus 14-15
More Stubborn - He had been an activist of the church; keyboard player, diligently to come to Fellowship, generous, sincere in herding Jesus. But when it was disappointed at the minister, he was angry at God and leave the worship and service. In fact, he was so very cynical about the Lord and do not care about other people. It is strange, but this sort of thing often happens, is not it?
Look at Jonah. He did not agree to the assignment of God on his life. He did not want God pity the Assyrians who became his enemy. Yunus forget that God chose Israel to be a blessing to everyone on earth (Gen. 12: 1-3, Isa. 49: 3). He even escaped from God, and embarked for Tarshish. When the sailors on the ship threatened raging waves, they cried out for mercy to their gods. But Jonah did not even care. He apathetic, and fast asleep at the sides of the ship.
This can happen if someone who never received the grace of God, then turned away from God. Her life could be more foolish than those who are not familiar with the world of the living God-Jesus Christ. People the world could scream for help to the god of this world. But, the child of God who is far from Him may be indifferent, pitiless, would not help the world to come and cry out to God completely.
Whether you're asleep spiritually? Many people need a helping hand. Arise! -SST
If your heart's desire is different from God's desire not to be disappointed, because He knows what is best for you.
