James 4: 1-10
Free of Pride - Reminded us that disputes and quarrels caused by lust. The desire to have, a desire to be equal to or more than anyone else. Also the desire to stand out, the desire to tackle, the desire to use his ideas. Not achieving those desires that ultimately give rise to problems. Without realizing the nature want to win himself appeared with all his arrogance.
We sometimes blithely uses the phrase: "There is nothing wrong with that, right?" For example: "No harm, right; when I was told "It is not wrong. But no one also otherwise notified. Because there is no interest. Or want to say: "I am an important person, let me know, please!" Another example; "What is wrong if I go in that room?" It would not hurt you enter the room. "So why I was not given a key, to be able to get into the room?" What interests you hold the key?
In an invitation, the inviter already know where we should sit. The safest option is to choose a most dishonorable. When the Host asked us to sit down not the lowest place it, then honor would be double what we get, we chose from the seat of honor, but it turns out it is someone else's place.
Problems in humble themselves before men started trouble us to humble ourselves before the Lord. Today the word of God reminds us that God opposes the proud, but grace to the humble ('6). The simplest way yet very meaningful to humble ourselves before God is to pray. Our habit of prayer makes us humble ourselves before the clumsy humans.
Inspiration: Release arrogance by tightening prayer, both in time and quality.
Moment of Inspiration.
