So you look at it: That you are dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. (Romans 6:11)
Reading the Bible in a Year:
John 4-5
Living for Christ - We quite often hear news of violence against the housekeeper employers, ranging from confinement to torture, and there are endless death. It is very sad. Urgent financial needs often make the victims less attention to the importance of knowing the profile employer before becoming workers.
Before getting to know Christ, we humans are slaves to sin. Our employers is the nature and temperament harm us, potentially bring fatal disaster and catastrophe upon us. Instead, once we believe in Christ, he automatically becomes our new master, and Christ execute His Lordship not to please Him (Rom. 15: 3), but to help His servants. As said Rebecca Pippert in the book Out of the Salt-Shaker and Into the World, Jesus is "the only one in the universe who can control without destroying us." Christ is the Lord who delivered us from the cruelty of sin and move His redeemed for acting in his name and live in complete freedom (Rom. 6: 8-11). It's much different from the gentlemen in this world!
Christian spiritual maturity begins when he realized who the real Christ. At that time, we will see the command and will of God as a joy, not a burden, and obedience no longer be an option, but a necessity in life us.-NW
LORD OF THE WORLD handcuff HIS SERVANT;
OTHERWISE, CHRIST liberate HIS SERVANT
