Then she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" So he awoke from his sleep and said: "As ever, I'll be free, and shake myself free." But he did not realize that the Lord had left him. (Judges 16:20)
A year Bible reading:
Deuteronomy 24-27
Do Not Compromise - Bring a glass of water so as not to spill not a difficult issue. But what if the water glass must remain in our hands for hours? Hands become numb and glass could be detached without being felt. Expenses which looked lightweight do not guarantee that we were able to withstand.
Samson is a mighty man who can beat the lion with his strength. But she suffered a defeat in the arms of Delilah. Logically, not a lion is much more likely to kill than a whimper Delilah? Delilah whining, which seemed trivial but repeated constantly, plunged Samson destruction. Delilah Samson purchase with a secret love of his separation. Perhaps he felt able to break away from all the problems with his physical strength. It turns out Samson faith not as tough as his physical strength. He thought that sin need not be taken seriously. But thought God did not reckon his sin because there is no direct effect on him.
God's patience is not patience permissive: tolerate sin. The absence of a commitment to dedicate themselves to God will bring us to destruction. The ability of self that looks strong and temptations that seem trivial does not guarantee victory or the endurance of faith. No compromise with sin slightest and always live in God is the best prevention. If you do not want to get stuck and experience adversity like Samson, do not compromise with sin. -EBL
Although it looks small, slit sin could undermine our faith until exhausted no trace.
