John 19-21
Do Not Rely on People - A girl dating a servant of God. They both actively and faithfully serving in the same church. When they plan to get married, the man of God falls a long illness does not go away until death. The girl is very hit and miss, but some time later, the girl relationships again with youths who do not believe. Gradually, the girl in the church activity begins to decline. It is unfortunate, now, the girl is no longer even be a church activists rarely present in worship on Sunday, even if only once a week.
Joash was seven years old when he became king. Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord throughout the lifetime of Jehoiada the priest. Jehoiada was very old and he died. They left the house of the Lord, the God of their fathers, and worshiped Asherah poles and idols (vv. 1-2, 15-18).
Do not have the faith to rely on others. If the person does not exist anymore, our faith becomes stranded. We must be an adult; our faith really depend on the Lord to remain strong until the end. There is a wrath of God on those who leave God (v. 18) otherwise as long as we seek the Lord, God made all our efforts succeed (2 Chron. 26: 5). Let us affirm his strength senantiasa.-IN
