Vision Divine or Human Purpose

Vision Divine or Human Purpose - Then the young men the same age as he said: "Thus shall you say to the people who have said to you: Your father has incriminating dependents us, but thee, give relief to us - this is what you have to say to them: my little bigger than the waist my father!

I Kings 12: 1-17

Changes in leadership within each level are common. The new leaders are generally instinctively wanted something different from previous leaders. It is humane but must be tested with the biblical considerations. Vision, taste, etc. should be assessed as to whether to bring us growth and others / team.

Rehoboam is an example of new leaders who failed. He ignores the senior team then selects the wise and experienced leadership team that is wrong (verse 8). He was addressing a serious matter with the arrogant (v 13). He did not analyze carefully and wisely input received (vv 14-15). The end result is humiliation and split the kingdom of Israel (verse 17 ff). In Solomon's leadership with the people already feel heavy tax burdens, asking for relief even with hard Rahabeam added burden on the people. He is a leader who is not in favor of the people but to a handful of young elite that surrounds it.

Life is always changing because the world has also changed. Sometimes gradual changes but also sometimes radical. The Lord put every leader of need in the context of the circumstances and conditions that continue to vary. God give (rather provide) a specific vision for each leader. A vision that will drive change and directionally correct. Learning from history Rahabeam, the leader must be sensitive to the needs of the people and sensitive to the divine wisdom that is often down through the people who have long been closely associating with God. Changes to pray struggled along with the other leaders. All the decisions that will bring about change should come from the divine wisdom that gives the vision of the divine, the change should not just human desire.

Inspiration: divine vision will bring changes that guarantee the achievement of the purposes of God that bring shalom for the world.

Moment of Inspiration.
