Mark 4-5
In Mara and Elim - The journey of the nation Israel from Egypt toward Canaan is often said to be the image of the life of believers. Like the nation Israel that must pass through the Mara, we are also dealing with things that could exacerbate the liver. So we wondered, "why there should be a ' Mara '?"
Yes, why should there be Mara? Paragraph 25 provides the answer, because that's where the Lord taught the various statutes and regulations. This answer is defined by David, who declared: "I am oppressed that it is good for me, that I may learn statutes ketetapanMu (Psalm 119:71). To be honest, when dealing with our problems are usually more serious than when the State sought the Lord everything is running smoothly. That is why God cannot work through issues rarely live to teach us better know Christ personally.
Interesting to me that the events of Mara and Elim noted in one peringkop the same. Coincidence? According to my understanding, this is not accidental, but rather contains a promise of God: that behind Mara, he provided the Elim. As to whether the Elim? "There are 12 springs and 70 Palm trees" (v. 27). God will not let us continue to slumped in bitterness; Instead, he guides us to reach for the blessing that He already provide.
Whether you currently are on the "Mara"? Let us strengthen and edify the heart to go on. Jesus surely accompany us towards "Elim". — SYO
