Being proud of the nation

Since attending high school, I wanted to go to Japan. On the other hand, I know someone who falls in love with all things Korean, and of course, went to Korea one day is a must for him. How about you? Is there any country that wants to have you visit? Or not to visit, but you make where you live, where you live, even into your nationality?

Visit other countries, learn the technology, admire the culture and natural beauty is not something wrong. However, comparing their own country and other countries often led to sheer disappointment. Indonesia is less so, less so ... it appropriate for a person to feel ashamed of the condition of his father and mother? Should the person not to recognize his family because of his imperfection? Although the grass is usually greener look, can we make it a reason to exchange family?

The Bible teaches us to submit to the governments of the world because they are representatives of God and there is no government that does not come from God (Romans 13: 1-4). The Bible also reminds us to be obedient and ready to do any good works (Titus 3: 1). He invites us to first of all, pray; for kings, princes, so that our life is quiet and serene. See friends! Our prayer for the president, ministers, rulers, and the city can bring us serenity and tranquility as well. Indonesia requires prayer and our work. Do not just boast another country but forget their own country. See more clearly, identify more closely. There is still a lot of great things that God wants to reveal through this country. So, be grateful, be proud, and love our nation, Indonesia, that the will of God, good and pleasing to Him.

First of all I urge: Lift up a petition, intercession and thanksgiving for all men, for kings and all his officials, so that we may live a quiet and peaceful in all godliness and dignity.

That is good and pleasing to God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to gain knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2: 1-4
