"I brought you into a fertile land to enjoy its fruits and good things from him. But as soon as you enter, you defiled my land; land mine you have created is abhorrent. "

History records that America is a great country that is blessed by God because of the founders (founding fathers) basing on the principles of the Bible. But after the nation started well established, many of the following generations had begun to forget and leave God. Crime, murder, divorce, violence, drug addiction, promiscuity, etc. occur. While officials have banned the preaching of God in government schools. Efforts by certain groups to claim that invoke the name of Jesus, carrying the Bible, displaying images of religious or wear Christian symbols in schools and public places is an offense (Toward Awakening - Bill Bright).

In the present article, Jeremiah analogize God relationship - Israel with the husband-wife relationship. How about when the Israelites out of Egypt, they are innocent and truly love God even though sometimes they do not obey and often fall up in a loving God. But God remains faithful and loving because when reprimanded, they immediately turned around and returned to God. But when they had entered the land of Canaan and enjoy the blessings of God and victory after victory, the nation of Israel and Judah began desensitized to be the voice of God. They left God deliberately (13) and forget what God has done in the past (32).

Israel left the "spring" of God and replace it with "broken cisterns" of their own making (13). At present we unknowingly, many things can make us leave God is the living water (John 4:24). We feel that the world can replace the pleasure of God so that we are more focused on those things and leave and forget God.

Motivation: What is the focus of today's brother? Do not let the things that make you forget and leave God.
