John 13: 34,35 and I Corinthians 13:13
We're in a shift of the value of human civilization lives as social beings (Zon Politicon) into sentient individual (individualism). The Bible says towards the end times-many people's love will fade. Especially in big cities all houses bounded by walls and high walls, no communication as well as ignorant of each other. We are making a world of individuals and not together, even our communication has also been limited. But as believers, Jesus gave the command for us: "new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another as I have loved you." (Jn 13:31).
The love started from ourselves. Word is very clear command ye love one another because of the same reason as I and the Father has loved you. I realize difficult for us to love those who have been disappointing, evil, rude, recounted the sharing of our ugliness, indeed for many other actions that have hurt us. It is not necessary for God to change them to love us, but our prayers to God to help us love them. Paul in I Corinthians 13:13 says "So stay three things namely Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of them is love." So Love is the highest rank in our lives. "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God, he who does not love, he does not know God, for God is love". (I John 4: 7-8).
