Acts 16: 19-34
Persecuted but Blessing - Paul and Silas were imprisoned because: First, they pray for women diviners in the name of Jesus so that the spirit that was in him out ('18). Secondly, the hosts of the women's income vanished because they rely on the spirit that there is no women's ('19). Third, they are accused of being troublemakers city, and teach customs which contrasts with the Romans ('20 -'21).
Although the conditions in prison, Paul and Silas were praying and singing remained praise to God ('25). For Paul and Silas in prison shackles are means an opportunity to praise the Lord and at the same place to testify, said the miraculous power of God. And when praise is raised by Paul and Silas, there was a great earthquake, so that the prison was faltering and instantly opened all the doors and regardless of their shackles ('26). When the jailer woke up and saw the door open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, but Paul shouted, "Do not harm yourself because we are all still here." ('28).
From the story of Paul and Silas, what can we apply?
As people of God, never lose the joy in the midst of difficulty, try to always praise the Lord and He sees you in secret places (Psalm 34: 16).
Let us always allied to God that is not limited by the situation, time and place.
Let us not burden the liver to testify despite the difficulties still continue to hit, remember, we are children of God chosen to witness the greatness of GOD.
Bless every person who hurt you so much that repent and believe / know our God ('31).
Inspiration: Every person who brought him into difficulties, difficulties that praising and witnessing the greatness of God.
