1 Corinthians 13: 7
Love it Receiving and Willing Sacrifice - You so choose to accept and love chooses to sacrifice. Love like Jesus loves us means choosing to receive. The apostle Paul advised, "Accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God." (Romans 15: 7)
We must accept others as Jesus accepts us. Why is it important ?. Important because all relationships based on acceptance. A strong relationship usually occurs when two people who are very different from each other to accept the existence of each, is not happening because of the equation. If we do not want to learn to accept people who are different from us, then we will only relate to the same person with us. Maybe accept differences mean we must accept the opinion of different people, accepting people with personality different from us, who have the ability to accept people different from us. Without anyone else who is different from you, you will not be able to grow.
Love like Jesus means that we must be willing to make sacrifices. The Apostle John said, "By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us; And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. "(1 John 3:16). Love is measured by how much we are willing to sacrifice.
Pray: "God I want to grow in relationship building. I want to love others as you have loved me. It was a challenge for me and I beg your power to love like that. I pray that every day can realize how much You love me and let it motivate me to love others. Thank you, Amen "
