Controlled By Love, Not Feelings

"Jesus wept"

John 11: 1-44

Controlled By Love, Not Feelings - The story of Lazarus gives us a clear picture of the link between feelings, faith and relationships. We often hear the wrong message that the more we ignore the feeling that we will be more like Jesus. But the story of Jesus' life in relation to Martha, Mary and Lazarus show different things, Jesus was with feelings. He loved Lazarus. He was with a sense of compassion when he met a leper. Jesus was angry when he needs to get angry as when the temple used as a market, but he did not sin in anger.

Jesus did not ignore His feelings. He denies himself by not always subject to His feelings.

Now we live in a world where many human actions are only based on feeling. No matter who they hurt or commitment what will they destroy, if the feelings they say so, then they will do what she feels. Infidelity, divorce, child uprising in the elderly, often based on feelings alone, and do not consider logic.

Immaturity as it happens everywhere and the reaction to it would be easy to conclude that we should ignore the feelings and subject to the logic alone. We humans have feelings and we will forever live with our feelings, but we should not always be controlled or acting on the basis of emotion. We must follow the example of Jesus, He revealed His feelings in an extraordinary way, he makes the faith of others grows.

Inspirations: Jesus has feelings and take it seriously and he expresses his feelings openly then he chose to act with love.

Moment of Inspiration.
