Humility Not Comparing

"Indeed, we do not dare to classify ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. They measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves. How stupid they are! "

2 Corinthians 10: 12

Humility Not Comparing - Because we equate being the one with the largest number, then we tend to compare ourselves with others. Wherever, in service, in business, in conversations etc. we always ask where I stand? Am I behind or my superior? Am I above or below me? The tendency to compare have a great impact in our build relationships. Trap competition often damaging friendly relations. What did you have a nice, but you start comparing. "It seems that it is more attention from my husband." "He pushed me more than my wife gave encouragement to me." "Look kids, why my kids do not behave like them?". Know Satan is working to take a good thing and joy by comparing siblings.

In Luke 14: 7-14, Jesus offered advice to his disciples, "If someone invites you to a banquet, do not sit at the main table. Maybe some people have been invited to sit there and drive you out when guests arrived. Take the least, if the inviter it comes then he would invite them to sit in a better place.

In your life, would you take the lowest seat? Jesus was not saying, "Be content if you were given the lowest seat." But he said, "Take the lowest place". The difference between making a decision and be seated in the lowest place. "Often in what appears to be the lowest point, we find the greatest blessing in life".

If you are a person who likes to compare, you will say, "this is insane teachings, does the Bible say about this?" Competitive allowed as long as it is not to be number one. But for something positive, for example, to proclaim the Good News of Christ to others, you are competing, it is good.

Inspiration: God is faithful to put their stops to worry about who was the greatest. He can change the world through those who have humility and do not compare yourself.

Moment of Inspiration.
