Will Not Give up, Keep Surrendering - There are times when our life is at stake nadir, everything seems awry, the design does not run smoothly, around the world do not support. People close, good people who have been reliable suddenly fallen off around us. Everyone who could be expected everything is hands up, surrender. The psalmist had periods like this so that it can no longer expect to close around him and he expects help from afar - I lifted up my eyes to the mountains ... (ayat1). Attractive surrounding situation did not affect his faith, he made a pious praise - confident of praise - my help is from the Lord ... (Ayat2).
At least 3 things that make the psalmist's still hope in the Lord even though the situation was not supportive of his faith:
1. The Lord cares, even though the situation did not look promising but the Lord would not allow him to falter (3a). Karen Lord will not give a burden beyond what we can bear, when we overload HE will provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13).
2. Lord faithfully, as the guardian of the Lord will never negligent, he will not telelap (paragraph 3a-5); God will remain faithful to keep forever (ayat8). Feel no one cares and always accompanies a source of strength in through the day.
3. LORD able, as the creator of the universe Lord certainly able to help no matter how big the struggle that we feel God must be able to help. So he was not influenced by the situation (paragraphs 3.6 to 8).
Solid faith is the faith that is not affected by the situation, but faith based on belief in the greatness of God is not how much a problem.
Motivation: our situation today, however, believe that the "fixed" hope to God is the way out the sweetest and most beautiful.
