Reading the Bible in a Year:
Revelation 6-8

Greatest Gift - In an event of couples, the committee asked each pair to think, prepare, and wrap gifts for their partner. The prize was then awarded and immediately opened. Interesting contents. There are buy sandals, no calculators, clocks, and even some cutlery. Intention of the committee is that each participant pay attention to the needs of his partner. Thus everyone can feel pretty special attention from her partner.

The event is intended as an entertaining distraction. Nevertheless, the sensitive participants will soon realize that giving something truly meaningful is not easy. Especially if you want to give the best. In fact we often provide easily available and do not hurt yourself. Compare it with what God has bestowed upon us.

First, the only Son of God gave His very beloved. This gift was a whole belonged to his most valuable. Secondly, God gave him to us when we were still sinners (Rom. 5: 8). God's love was behind the sublime grace of this provision. Thirdly, this will be ours forever. Christ gave himself along with the eternal life to us who believe in Him.

Is there a greater gift than this? If you have received the greatest gift of this? If you have received it, if you are also welcome Christmas with gratitude and joy? -HEM
Christmas is an expression of love of God which is very large, given His grace is His most precious.
