Beginning of Mind - Diana-not her real name-a Bible study, and then committed to Christianity. He was baptized. Previously, he likes forecast. Having become a follower of Christ, he burned books and horoscope predictions collection. When an old friend tried to engage her in conversation about the forecast, he firmly rejected and chatting to them about Jesus. Seen that his mind grow toward Christ.

Growth starts from the mind as Paul says in the passage today. Renewal of the mind or the mind enables us to understand the will of God: what is good, pleasing to God and perfect. That was the starting point of growth become more like Christ, which starts from a change of mindset and worldview.

One of the thoughts that we need to change is the notion of sin: that we are too weak to face the temptation of sin; that because we are bound by habits of sin for a long time, it is hard to escape from them. We need to realize that Jesus has redeemed us. As Jesus firmly resisted the temptations of Satan, as His followers we are enabled to do so. Do not give an opportunity to the devil. When we are weak, we can pray for the power of God.

We speak, act, and perform various other activities are driven by the mind. By updating the mindset according to the mind of Christ, we will grow spiritually and become more like Him. -RTG
