Recognizing and Leaving

Read: Proverbs 28: 10-14

He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)

A year Bible reading:
Joshua 11-13

Recognizing and Leaving - While not married, I followed the worship which was attended only by men. After word of God delivered, the men in attendance were asked to sit two-by-two of us, including me. What then to do? We asked each other recognize the bad habit or sin is often done, and ended with one another. Personally, I feel there is relief in the liver after the service is completed.

Sin is not something new in human history. Since Adam and Eve failed to obey God's word with regard to the tree of knowledge, sin entered the human life. Actions of Adam and Eve, who then hid from God, also imitated man who, after sinning, tend to hide from God and others. In fact, sin should be recognized and abandoned, not hidden, because sooner or later anyway will be revealed. There is the promise of God's incredible that anyone who recognizes and leave his offense will be loved by God. Indonesian Bible Daily wrote: "He who conceals his sins does not prosper. Who recognizes and leave, will be spared the Lord "(v. 13).

Hide action will only bring misfortune of sin in our lives. Not a few people end up frustrated because never free from the bondage of sin. Penance, recurrent, repentance, a turn-and so on. However, the decision to admit and renounce sin, will bring blessings to us. Please make a decision. -GHJ
The sin that is hidden will only bring decay into our lives.
