Let God Talk

Read: Luke 1: 5-25

But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren and both have advanced in years. (Luke 1: 7)

Reading the Bible in a Year:
2 Corinthians 5-8

Let God Talk - In our living room wall mounted frame picture of The Last Supper. Formed from a thousand pieces of the puzzle are composed by my wife. At first glance seems perfect but ... in fact there is one piece missing and must be replaced with a replica. It looks perfect, but there is a "but" her.

Zechariah and Elizabeth couple's life seems perfect (v. 6). It turns out there is a "but" her. They are not blessed with offspring (v. 7). Glance no problem, but in fact they carry the load. For humans "but" is a guardrail. Point. Problem. For the Lord, "but" is an open gate. Coma. Road. There is still a story, never even suspected. Thus, divine intervention came. Angel berkabar Elizabeth would conceive (v. 13). For the Lord is always a way. No wonder the fetus in the womb of Elizabeth saluted as the precursor of the Lord (v. 17).

Life is studded with a "but". Newly married, but threatened divorce. Successful, but the sick. Intelligent potentially, but have not yet found a mate. Salary okay, but make resentful coworkers. Already passed, but has not been able to work. Do not give up! Although we bandaged limitations, if God intervened act, there is always the open road. Pray, strive, and hopeless in God. Our path is not His way. "But" it indicates that the story continues. Let God finish the story of our lives. A beautiful story, of course. -Pad
We are just actors in this life story. Allow God, the Scriptwriter, which tells the story.
