Brothers, you were called to freedom. But do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but serve one another through love. (Galatians 5:13)

New Chapter - Fena, a Sunday school student, has an interesting premise. When asked something, the answer often contain confusing comparison. For example, "The book is thick, Om, but thin" or "It's far, but close." Later, we understand that the Fena compare two things to show that he can solve the problem. Remote place, but because together with the family was close. Thick book, but because it seemed interesting so thin.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has triumphed over sin and death. His death on the cross to break the power of sin is the sting that is death (cf.. 1 Cor. 15: 54-57). Death and resurrection is the victory over sin and freedom for everyone who believes in Him. Surely we should be grateful. However, we still live in a sinful world. Struggle to live according to the identity of the person selected is continuing. People believe they must fight against the flesh, which allowed him to live again in the old way, that is servile to sin.
We are entering a new phase in the struggle against sin. As God's children, we are given the power to overcome sin. The Holy Spirit will help believers triumph over the power of sin. Sometimes it is like comparing Fena earlier: Yes, but not ended. Call for us to continue to abide by the wishes of the Holy Spirit so that we can reflect with gratitude for the many who have received salvation. -AAS
The power of sin has been defeated by Christ, but the struggle against sin continues.
