He found him in a desolate land, in the desert, in the waste howling wilderness. He surrounded him and watched him, kept him as the apple of His eye. (Deuteronomy 32:10)
One Year Bible reading:
Ruth 1-4
We Watched By God - I continued to gaze fixed on my children that attend school fashion competition. He looked uncomfortable wearing traditional Balinese dress. Maybe chills. But, seen it tried to restrain him. He walked on stage and show cheerfulness during the race. I am proud to see her struggle. Although he had made a small error in the movement, I keep watching and giving spirit. Yes, he has been working hard, and whatever the outcome, win or lose, I will always be proud of him.
Not only me, the parents of other children did the same. They did not stop providing support for their children who were in a race. I, and of course other parents, were there for one reason: love of children. My eyes do not move from my children because I love her. Both my hands not stop clapping encouraged her because I love her. No matter, win or lose, it's still my son.
When contemplating what I am doing, I am reminded of how much God has done something far greater. Through singing, Moses describes so impressively attention and supervision of God to His people that, like him keep his own eyeball. He is a Father who never stops watching and keep us in the race of life. Victory or defeat does not change that we experience His love over us. -SYS
Victory or defeat when we lead the race of life, not in the least diminish the love and presence of God.
