Reading the Bible in a Year:
Acts 20-22

Dying For The Bible - Robert J. Thomas of the Bible Society of Scotland longs to bring the Bible into Korean. In 1866, he boarded the American ship carrying Chinese-language Bible (Korea educated people can read it), but the outbreak of war between ships and coast guard officers that their ship was destroyed. Before he died, Thomas tried to get out of the water while bringing the Bible for the people of Korea, who beat him to death. Thankfully, there are people who read the Bible, and the church began to stand there. Now? Korea has the largest Christian population in the Far East.

Deployment and preaching of the Gospel is indeed risky. Because the apostles preached the gospel, the high priest catch and throw them into jail. Hopefully, the apostles deterrent and no longer preach the word of God. But at night the angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out with the message to keep on speaking to the people (v. 20). God did not tell them to speak the word quietly, but with courage. Why not! The Lord commanded the apostles to stand in the temple and speak the word to the people who live there!

His Church, the community of believers on earth, are invited to spread and preach the gospel to be ready to bear all the risks. It seems more and more people get to know God and His great plan. Let us take part in the service ini.-SYS

TASKS OF THE CHURCH IN THE WORLD IS NOT ANOTHER
