Genesis 12: 1-9
Read and reflect on this passage with the title "God called Abram" there are a lot of interesting we observe. Abraham asked for a "mutation" into a place that he had never met before. Instead of "mutations" across the city, but across the nation. "Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from your father's house to the land that I will show thee;" (1). In general, "mutation" is something unpleasant, especially if it has been "aged" like this Abram. Is considered elderly. Abraham received "SK Mutation" as well as promotion in a new place with all its blessings.
There is another phenomenon I observed in everyday life, many "elderly" who formerly very instrumental in service in a church or service organization or secular fields, they are now abandoned. Though they have the experience, expertise and loyalty that have been tested and proven. Abram although the elderly are still the center of attention of God. He called, chosen and used to fulfill His plan. True old Jewish proverb that says: "To the ignorant, old age is like winter, while for learned men, it is the harvest."
Hundreds of thousands of people in the advanced age of 70, 80 and even 90's have a zest for life that is absurd and shows great strength, enthusiasm and incredible physical abilities in his life. In the age of 94 years, Betrand Russell still actively promoting world peace. In the age of 90 years, Picasso is famous for his artistic works. They still receive the blessings of the best in the elderly. Like Abraham received the blessings of the best in old age. Do not be afraid to grow old and when it became dark.
Inspiration: Keep a blessing until in old age as Abraham.
Moment of Inspiration.
