Meet The Call of Christ

Read: Ephesians 3: 1-13

To me, the least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the riches of Christ, which is unfathomable. (Ephesians 3: 8)

Ephesians 1-3

Meet The Call of Christ - The Bible says to every believer is given not only eternal salvation, but also the honor to serve the Lord. Two into one package boon. God does not give the same task for everyone. He has a special task for each of His children, as realized by Paul.

Since Paul was converted, God called Paul to concentrate on Gentile nations. Jesus said it more than once (cf., Acts. 16:10; 22:21). However, Paul's ministry among the Gentiles interspersed with preaching to his own people. First, Paul always went to the synagogue in the cities which became a sojourn. When they rejected the gospel, then later he went to the Gentiles. In the midst of all the challenges that exist, Paul diligently and faithfully carry out his ministry to death.

God is the One who is calling. He reveals it to His children who hear his call, to recognize his will, and obedient. Often call it a new phase of preparation. Paul prepared for many years prior to his call came. Where is our current position? At the stage of preparation or implementation? One writer said, "When we know that God has a special purpose for us, it is our responsibility as a student is to find and fulfill it." Let us find and fulfill God's call! -NW
