Already Free! No More Punishment!

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8: 1)

The Bible tells us about a woman who was involved in the sin of adultery. Religious leaders of that time has sentenced women in their thinking, while the applicable law at the time it was mentioned that the woman must be stoned. Because curiosity is great, these people brought the woman to Jesus to see what He will do to him.

The response the Lord Jesus on the matter very surprised them. Instead of punishing the women who are considered sinful, the Lord Jesus even showed love and attention to the woman. He turned and said to the crowd,

"Whoever among you without sin, let him throw the first stone at her." (Read John 8: 1-11).

Everyone who accused the woman left her one by one. Jesus turned to the woman and asked, "Woman, where are they? Is there no one who will punish you? "The woman replied," No one, Lord. "And Jesus said something that has profound meaning which opened the eyes of our hearts to know the contents of his heart to us and all mankind, namely,

"Neither do I condemn you. Go, and sin no more from now on. "
Basically, the Lord Jesus told us, "I do not approve of any punishment. That's not my goal coming into this world. I came to liberate all mankind from sin and death. "


Perhaps lately you have to face some people who want to accuse and "pelt you with stones", know that it is not the intention and will of God. God never will throw at you and me with a rock as punishment for mistakes and sins we have ever done; God is not going to drop us. He loves us and wants to equip you and me to live in true freedom because there is no longer any condemnation for those who believe in Him

Maybe you and I ever do various sins and errors of the past, or doing things that make you and me feel embarrassed, or maybe even you and I hurt because of the attitude of others who accuse and stone us. Today, REMOVE all the wounded hearts and open their hearts to receive the love and forgiveness of God in your life and mine. In Christ there is no condemnation. Let us accept the love and grace and enable us to live victoriously as he has promised us.
