Tribulation of Faith

I Thessalonians 3: 1-13

"So that no one would be shaken by these afflictions. You yourselves know that we are destined for. "

Note the antithesis in this passage. Bouncy and firm, distress and comfort, as well as anxious and excited. This antithesis option as it does not contain the slogan "freedom or death" but rather complementary. Paul sent Timothy to strengthen the believers in Thessalonica that they might not be shaken in distress. The other reason is because Paul is worried about their faith (verses 3-5). But after Timothy back, Paul was delighted to know that believers in Thessalonica to stand firm in their faith. This makes the tightness and distress to comfort (verses 6-8).

Tribulation is a part of faith. He became an integral part of the journey of faith throughout life. In other words, every believer must be having trouble. Paul even has reminded to the Thessalonians before they experience it (verse 4). Distress not only occur at the beginning of a journey of faith as a proverb says: "ail sick first, fun later," but the distress and pengiburan will continue to occur in turns as well as day and night in the life of the believer. There must replace chapped morning afternoon evening sunset as well as replacing daylight.

Worry that encouraged Paul to send Timothy to strengthen the Thessalonians is groundless because they are still relatively new believers. On the other hand, Paul realized that God also strengthen them until the time of the coming of Christ (verse 13). How about you? Sure you will faithfulness of God help you in joy and sorrow? Hopefully the following song lyrics reinforce brother:

Please would the Lord O my soul! He protection of the difficulties // Do not fret, stoic surrender // Because discharged night, morning broke // In anguish and upheaval God faithful, your Helper!

Inspiration: Where there is trouble and sorrow, there is the consolation and gratitude.

Moment of Inspiration.
