Ted Haggard, a senior pastor at New Life Church in Colorado, famous among US evangelicals. He fell because of the body of a sexual scandal in 2007. In fact, besides the pastor of the church, he is also chairman of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE). At the start of the news circulated, his best friend, James Dobson, a well-known Christian psychologist, did not believe. However, the reality speaks another. He really has been put through sexual sin. How could figure can be as powerful as Haggard's fall into sin?

A hero in the book of Judges also experienced the same pitfalls. He named Samson. If we read from the beginning, Samson nazir of God since he was in the womb. God was already wearing it a few times, but the reality speaks another. Samson failed to obey God. Did he suddenly fail? No. She loves and marry a foreign girl in Timna, he ate wild honey from the carcass of the lion, things that are considered unclean for God's people, and he was married to Delilah, also foreign women. Not infrequently, we got the impression that Samson is very proud of his strength. The drop was not sudden.

Believers are indeed blessed and protected by God, but if you see Haggard and Samson, should the awareness that we are weak. If not constantly train themselves (1 Cor. 9:27), we can fall. Yes, the failure normally starts from disobedience that accumulate spiritual sensitivity and reduced us.-PR
