Luke 15: 11-21
The youngest child leave the residence of his father after asking treasure share, sold and squandered the treasure in a distant land, riotous living. Once the treasure exhausted, he fell impoverished, eventually working as a guard pig. Because too suffer, pig food in the form of waste would want to devour, and even then not given to him. In times of famine, then he remembered that his father's house, the hirelings provided abundant food, the better it works only on his father. He was shy and sober, not worth returning as a child, then humble yourself as a wage sufficient to make rejoice, at least he knows where he will starve (17-19).
In the middle of bids 'far country', tempting and seductive world, many children of God who abandon 'father's house', pursue pleasures of sin, selfishness, wasting the gifts given by God. As a result, they left the Lord. Grateful if such is the youngest child, the misery he realized that he had been wrong step. A conversion step should start from an awareness that arises from humility and regret not imposed on others (17). That is why this passage many described as an example of "the prodigal son" returning to his father.
It takes confession beforehand, in response to movement of the Holy Spirit that brought the person, so that when the blood of Jesus blots then this person may be worth returning to the Father. Maybe we say: "Ah, I'm fine as Christians," but has not aligned and have intimacy with the Father, that means we're lost.
