Observing Offerings

"Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money ..."

Mark 12: 41-44

Jesus sat facing the treasury, how the people cast money into the treasury. He sent for the disciples were together with him and give response to what Jesus and the disciples witnessed.

We understand that what we present to God and His work is seen by God regardless of the amount. He sees whether we are present with a true heart or grouchy. Do we give money offerings because we love Him. Also see if we calculate the profit or loss in offerings. What motivates us when we give offerings and to whom offerings that we provide.

Finished observing the behavior of providers offering, Jesus responded by sharing with students his. Not that Jesus did not appreciate giving a lot of rich people who give a lot, but Jesus would teach us that all we have belongs to the Lord, and worthy we return to Him. Not about the value of money but a matter of the heart that understands that all we have belongs to God. We are trusted by him to manage responsibly.

No intimidation of Jesus about the rich and the poor but do we realize that all we have belongs to Him? What we must dedicate return to the Lord for His glory. We can also learn from Hezekiah able to manage all forms of offerings with a good, honest and true to God, and be done with all our heart (2 Chronicles 31: 2-21).

Inspiration: Test the motivation of our own when we give offerings. Not to benefit ourselves but for the greatness and glory of God.

Moment of Inspiration.
