I possess

Reading: Exodus 4: 1-17
Lord said to him: "What is that in your hand?" Moses said: "Stick." (Exodus 4: 2).

Many people think it would be great, effective, productive if they had certain advanced facilities. If I had a personal computer, I would have been more productive writing. If I had the vehicle itself, I must be more diligent to church. In fact, once they have the facility, there is no significant improvement. Proved that 'if' it is nothing but a mere pretense or self-justification.

When God called Moses to free his people from slavery in Egypt, he felt he had nothing. No special skills or facilities that can be relied upon to confront Pharaoh. As a result, he was reluctant to answer the call. Then God him realize that he can use what is already Musa have, not what is not, or will he have. A piece of wood in his hand, which serves as a shepherd's staff, turned out to be instruments of God to perform miracles (v. 17).

When God calls us, He always use what we already have. David did not need Moses' rod to beat Goliath, but with a sling (a type of catapult) who are proficient he uses. The disciples of Jesus did not require a huge bakery to supply food for 5000 people hungry, but with 5 loaves and 2 fishes were already in their hands.

Facilities, skills, what chance do we have now? Commit to the Lord, then He can use him to raise his name through life us.-HT
