Not only is the husband who must be either in Christ, but a woman also plays an important role in domestic harmony.
The Word of God says that the wife of an accomplished more valuable than gems. Gem is a precious metal, is much more valuable than gold. Lots of people in this world who are proud when wearing gems as jewelry. A capable wife in the Lord far exceed the jewel that is in this world.
Of course, all wives want to be a wife like that. Let's look at some things in God's Word that can help us as a wife to be able to be better again in the presence of the Lord:
1. Submit To Husband
"Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord,
As the church is subject to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. "Ephesians 5: 22,24
The Bible does not say: O wives submit to your husbands, but quite the opposite. An obligation that wives should submit to their husbands.
"Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord." Colossians 3:18
Generation be changed with the rising status of women to be equal with men, wherever they are. So women should occupy strategic positions in the fields of business, employment, government and others.
But in his position in the household, must remain aware that the husband holds the authority of leaders and heads of households. However the position, status and condition of the husband, the wife should submit to her husband's study.
2. Pure Life in the Light of God
"Likewise, ye, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that if any of those who do not obey the Word, they are also without the word be won by the behavior of his wife, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives them." 1 Peter 3: 1-2
A wife must learn to keep their attitudes and actions to her husband. There are some husbands who have not won in Christ. Even those committing crimes in the eyes of God.
A wife must learn to be patient in dealing with this case. He had to keep doing things that are pleasing to the Lord and still loves her husband.
Most husbands who behave not as good as it can not be changed just by words alone. But when the husband saw his wife were always being patient and gentleness in dealing with them, one day the husband would melt her heart. Her husband can be won through the attitudes and actions of the patient's wife and obedient to God.
3. Be Helper
"The Lord God said:" It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make a helper for him, which is commensurate with him. "Genesis 2:18
God put the woman to be a helper for man, not vice versa. Is a happiness with the husband and wife, if the husband get success and fame in his work. The wife plays an important role in the journey towards success.
Every prayer, encouragement, participation, loyalty and patience are always given to him will be a strong foundation for the husband to be successful.
"... And the wife must respect her husband." Ephesians 5: 33b
For that any husband's condition at this time, either being in adversity or in the fall, let wives remain faithful to accompany her husband. The wife should not be scoffed at, disfigure or even leave your husband, if you're in a bad state.
Wives must remember that in difficult circumstances and happy, he should always be a companion and helper for her husband.
Let the wife still able to support her husband when he was undergoing problems and unpleasant circumstances.
