Deuteronomy 6: 4-7
Invaluable heritage - If the way we live only self-centered and serve yourself, then we simply pass on the things that are material only for the family and our posterity. When we're alone, we just know that family is very precious. When we are in the top position, we feel a lot of friends around us, we can do anything. But when we are helpless, realized who our true friends. But if we give priority to others, then we will bequeath something priceless and timeless. The heritage that we can bequeath is a God-centered life.
In the Old Testament, God commanded the people Israe: Alahmu love God (Deuteronomy 6: 4-7). If we truly love God, then we will do all his commandments. By doing all his word, then we are going to give an example to the family and our posterity, all of that must start from ourselves.
Teach repeated (Deuteronomy 6: 7; Romans 10: 17). Our family members will not understand or will not know about his word if we never talk and teach. Teach his word repeatedly, whenever and wherever we are. Every word that is sown will not fall in vain (Isaiah 55: 11).
God not only commanded the Israelites to perform his word at that time, but until these last days God still wanted children of his doing the same thing, to love Him with all our heart and teach the families and our posterity to do the same one.
Inspiration: Teach the Word of God to our family members repeatedly, whenever and wherever we are.
