Psalm 40: 1-18
How is the life we want depending on the choice of our hearts. As we learned from David, who prayed for the Lord to know the age limit would help to avoid sin against God. Not by his own power but by putting his trust in the Lord. God be his hope that he continues to look forward and seek the Lord.
Expect the grace of God which is love and truth be his strength in dealing with problems from within and from outside his life (verses 12,13). Although there were problems because of guilt and calamity that besieged his life, his heart still believe in God. The choice of his heart to keep hoping for love and truth of God that allowed him to rejoice more than the problems it faces. Though in fact at paragraph 18 David revealed he is miserable and the poor can not seize happiness and joy because David was very familiar with his God. By showing his belief in God, he told God that visit, listen and lift him out of the slimy pit of mud and swamp. God not only raised but he puts it on a hill, which means beyond the problems that it faces.
Another interesting feature is the Lord had not stopped until the above problems but also show the steps that must be taken. There is a new song and praise of God that comes from the mouth of David, which affect many people who saw and finally fear and trust in the Lord. Whatever problems we face are due to our fault or circumstances that exist, do not put our hearts on the issue but still point to Him, He noticed our hearts and give us a new song to be able to praise God and thank Him.
Inspiration: How big a problem we will not exceed our strength because God is greater than our problems.
