Vision of God

For me, it does not matter what you - or anyone else - is also thinking about myself. In fact, what I myself think about myself did not matter.

1 Corinthians 4: 3

Self-denial. That is what Paul because he was obedient to the Lord (v 2) to tell the secrets of God for the world. Paul ignored the people's judgment against him, even themselves had he denied his assessment. Paul never said that he was observant Jews, circumcised at the age of 8 days, and he learned as a student of a famous teacher named Gamaliel. But for the sake of obedience to Jesus, he no longer ignore its reputation.

An example of a man who had a strong will, a clear vision and paying the price for his convictions. Noah, with a clear vision of God, he built the ark. He stood his though many people snickered and said he was insane. Noah remains ahead to realize the vision of God regardless of the words of people. Finally proved that he is not mad.

What is the current that drives your life? Everyone lives with encouragement to achieve a goal. There are triggered by money, ambition, power, pleasure, reputation, etc. Great vision of God should be the driving force of our lives. Is that vision? Where should we look for?

Actually, this vision is not hard to find. God has to deliver it to us through His Word. God's desire is that the world may be saved, therefore it is important mandate given to the disciples: "make disciples of all nations." That's the vision of God. Then if later we all become pastors and evangelists? No! You must proclaim the good news, but it does not have to serve 'full-time'. Brothers with any profession can be used by God to make others disciples of Christ or to contribute to the church or organization that has a mission that purpose.

Motivation: Have a vision of God and make it the driving force of your life. Nothing brings more joy in addition to fulfilling the call of God for our lives.
