O Lord, do not let us perish for this man's life, and do not hold us innocent blood: for thou, Lord, have done as thou wilt. (Jonah 1:14)

Judges 20-21
Witnesses Living - Everyone who believes in Christ as Lord and Savior has many names. The Son of God. Light and salt of the earth. Witnesses of Christ. Christ lives letter and read it. Messengers of Christ who witnessed acts of God in Christ Jesus (Jn. 1:12; Matt. 5: 13-14; Acts. 1: 8; 2 Cor. 3: 2-3; 1 Pet. 2: 9). In essence, we are asked to be a witness, so that more people get to know God in Christ Jesus, the Savior of the world.
In fact, it's ironic. Consider the story of Jonah. Many of God's children occur as Jonah: mum, no matter the fate of others who are perishing. Thankfully, God can not remain silent. Many sinners and know God, fear him, cried out for mercy, knowing they will perish, and surrender your life to God. This is not due to be told by people who already believe in God. When the silent witness of Christ, through the situation and danger, God is able to speak and help them to know the truth. Yes, if His people to stop praising and witness truth, love, and grace of God, He was willing to raise the stones of silence to proclaim the greatness of him (Lk. 19:40).
Is not it an honor, if he delights to choose and send us a witness of his life? So that through our speech, many people can know God and be saved by Him through Christ's atonement. -SST
