Adults In Christ - A person will be considered an adult, when at the age of seventeen. Well, what about those who have become Christians for seventeen years? Can he be considered immediately've grown spiritually? The answer: no. Spiritual maturity of a person is not determined how long she had become a Christian. Is not determined by how high his position in the church. Nor determined from the busy life in service.

Many things can be used as a measuring tool of spiritual maturity, but not things like the above. How gauges used the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians? The Apostle Paul assessing the Corinthians immature in Christ (v. 1b). The reason, among them there is jealousy. There is also a dispute between those who claim of Paul and those who claim Apollos. It shows that they are still fleshly and still live humanely (vv. 3-4). Apparently, a Christian spiritual maturity among others determined his attitude in life with others. If there is envy and strife, in fact he was immature in Christ.

Forget it, how long we've become a Christian. Forget it, how high our position in the church. Forget also, our busy in the ministry. Let us look at our situation carefully. If there is envy and strife, we have not actually mature in Christ. We are no more than a child should still receive milk. -OK S
