True friend is Jesus Christ

True friend is Jesus Christ - "And the Lord spoke to Moses face to face like a man speaks to his friend; then he returned to the camp. "

Exodus 33: 11

In his book Why Am I Afraid To Tell You Who I Am? John Powell mentions five stages of communication: conversation clichés, tells the positions of others, their own ideas and opinions, your own feelings, emotions and telling yourself. How close our relationship with a person determines how we communicate with him. The way we communicate with new people, friends, couples would be different. And usually three stages last communication is often done in relation to a person familiar. In a relationship being open is not an easy thing even to those close though about what we think or feel, because it may result in confused, angry, etc.

Reading today talking about Moses being so intimate with God, so to speak as a friend. Why does God act like that against Moses? That is not because Moses is perfect, has a lot of gifts or power, but because God himself would choose Moses and vice versa, Moses depend entirely to the wisdom and guidance of God. I believe, Moses was not afraid to come to God and express feelings that brought the Israelites go to Canaan.

Sometimes we think that God just wanted to hear certain things from us. It is true that we have to raise the praise and worship, confession, thanksgiving and intercession we, but God is also willing to listen to what we want to say to him. Although sometimes friends also feel bored sometimes can not hear or understand us, but God is always willing to listen and really understand what and who we are because He is our true friend.

Motivation: The Lord Jesus calls his disciples and his followers as friends (John 15:15) and that includes you and me. Let us entrust ourselves as a friend of God like Moses.

Moment of Inspiration.
