Faithful, Obedient, Humble

"... David always comes home from Saul to feed his father's sheep in Bethlehem."

1 Samuel 17: 14-15

When Samuel whispered, "You will be the next king!" What David did? Does David then buy expensive clothes, change his appearance? Whether David shouted for the whole village heard: "I am the Lord's anointed, I'm the substitute King Saul!" Is this so? No! Even though David was anointed king, David's remains back to his sheep. People who are looking for how the Lord? Among them:

People who follow what God wants. We often think God is complicated, but God is not. In the middle of the hassle with Saul, the Lord just said to Samuel, "Go to a place that I commanded." When the Lord commands just do it, do not make the implementation of God's will be complicated. When we do the job faithfully, God will do His work. God is always sovereign choice and definitely. Therefore be sensitive. When God says, "You are mine. I will use you there, because you prove yourself faithful. Being the only difference is our geographical position alone. Do not attempting to test his sovereignty it.

If we are Jews living in the era of David, perhaps the same thing happen to us. All our attention will be focused on a man named Saul, the first king of Israel. Saul is the central point of the Jewish world at that time. Meanwhile, a man who "does not mean" was keeping his father's sheep in the Judean hills near the village of Bethlehem. A boy named David who is not noticed, but a great personal that is God.

Inspiration: When God has chosen us as anything, do not try to get out of the way of his choice. Be like David faithful and obedient and always pleasing to God.

Moment of Inspiration.
