In everyday life, if you are waiting for someone, such as a special guest to have dinner with you, then you probably do not just sit at home while imagining what would happen later. You will definitely make the best preparations for the special guests such as cleaning and tidying the house or room that will be used as well to make sure that everything perfect to welcome the guests. Usually you will even prepare everything in advance, including the menu a few weeks what would you serve as well as the clothes you will wear. That's what you should do when you are waiting upon the Lord. Waiting is not just sitting still waiting for what will happen next, but rather to prepare everything to welcome him in the best way you can do
