Gold including precious metals, the metal that is resistant to oxidation and corrosion (rust). Unlike wood that becomes ash when burned, the gold remained in the flames. Only his form that melts at a temperature of about 1000 ° C.
Job describe his experience and examination as a gold refining process (v. 10). He also realizes life is full of mysteries, including the fact that God seemed silent. There Ayub learn faith that God is alive and is testing himself.
As if, Job said to his friend, "Hey Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, even if I can not find the presence of God, I am sure he lives and know my way of life. He knew be the way. I believe in him. Once the exam is over, he will justify me, because He knows how I lived before him. I shall come forth as gold tested by fire trials. I testify that I follow His ways, and His word I keep in my heart "(v. 8-12).
The story of Job's suffering is meant to teach us that there is always the best plan behind every test of life that God allowed to happen to us. Way of looking at the issue of Job teaches us that God is in control of our lives. Our lives are like gold and precious in God's sight. If God 'burn' of our lives, He does not intend to destroy it. Instead, he wants to find the quality of faith tested, pure, a life without God's blemish.-SYS
