When someone dies, people know that his life has taken. But the death of Jesus is very different from anyone else. His life was not taken, but he himself who handed it to Father. As one commentator, "Jesus holds complete control over his life, his own death when he lay down his life. No one takes the life of Jesus from Him, as He has said himself (John 10: 11,15, 17-18). He let down his life according to God's plan and He Himself is involved in taking his life back on the day of resurrection. "There is nothing that any human as He is Life itself. Our life comes from Him, because He is the source itself.
Every believer has the life of Christ, so that they can experience a meaningful life in fellowship with Him (John 15: 1-8). Thus the Christian life is so unique because he has hope eternal.
Recently, there is a woman not a Christian, middle-aged, died. A week before he died, he had heard the Gospel. After explain who Jesus was, he was challenged to believe and accept Jesus. Had he refused, but before the team returned home, she prayed states from the faith. Some days it was one of the team members to meet him, and sincerely he cried out: "Lord, Lord, Praise the Lord Jesus." Unexpectedly, a few days later he died. People then said, "Thank God he had heard of Jesus. If he truly believes, he must have together with Jesus. "
