Mark 4: 35-41
Where Your Faith - When Jesus invites his disciples to leave to the other side, suddenly there came a typhoon to the lake so the boat they take in water and they are in danger. When the incident, Jesus was asleep. And some students whose background fisherman, would bend over backwards to overcome that difficulty. But they are limited so go wake Jesus by saying, "Teacher, do not you care if we drown?" When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the hurricane was so calm the waters. Then he said to them: "Why are you so afraid? Why do you not believe? "
Action attitude of Jesus' disciples is a picture of our lives. That is, we often resolve themselves all the problems of life through the ability, wealth or our intelligence. In fact, we often do not need Jesus when problems can be solved. And if it were so heavy, then we cried out for help.
The attitude of the students into learning so that we do not let Jesus "asleep" in the boat of our lives. But we should always "wake" him in our lives whether through intimate fellowship at any time and in our obedience. So that when the storm came suddenly, Jesus is the only major expectations will scold our difficulties.
Do not make the power of Jesus as a backup, but place the him in all aspects of life, then he will give the settlement / peace of life. Know this, his power remains the same either past, present or in the future because He is a God who wants to process our faith so that we remain firm and do not doubt his power to help and save us.
Inspiration: Never rely on its own capabilities in the face of adversity, but rely on the power of Jesus is able to provide a solution.
