My heart moved by compassion for the people. For three days they follow me and they do not have food. I do not want to send them away hungry, they'll faint on the road. (Matthew 15:32)

One of my friends has a habit of giving rice packets to the homeless, scavengers and street children. I asked what prompted him to do so, he replied mercy. The little time he had become homeless and scavengers. He knew what it was hungry and could not eat all day. He never forced to eat food that is thrown away in the trash. Lucky, he later adopted by one of his brothers.
What happens when the heart of Jesus merciful? Miracles happen! The Bible records Jesus often performed miracles, drawn mercy. He had compassion saw people in need of salvation (Matt. 9: 35-38). He is merciful see the sick (Matt. 14:14; Matt. 20:34; Mk. 1:41), to see people starve (v. 32) so that he does not want to send them away hungry, they'll faint on the road. Yes, in the abdomen matters even Jesus cares! He made sure the stomach is full of four thousand people, then they are sent home (v. 39). He is also merciful saw a widow weeping for her only child died (Lk. 7:13).
Currently, solidarity noticeably thinned in the community. Shall we cry or sad to see the distress of others and moved to help him? Or, we feel mediocre and passed away without doing anything? Let compassion not only in words, but in action. Be an extension of the hand of God to love.
