Isaiah 46: 1
Heavy load - Several years ago, I did my first strict diet. My doctor said that although I do not carry a load, a man my age with a family history and a combination of vital statistics are faced with diabetes stage 2. He caught my attention. So I did. I reduced snack, watching carbohydrates, regular exercise and weight loss 25 pounds for about 4 months. I feel healthy.
One day happened to me, "No wonder, I usually run out of breath after climbing two floors of stairs in the office! When you bring a 25-pound sacks of flour on your waist, it will cost you all day. "
But this insight is not about dieting. But about the "bag" the other we carry everywhere: sexual sin in the past, a history of violence, affair, fear without reason, the old secret, hidden sin. This bag does not want us apart. Stuff in it too dark to be disclosed and acknowledged. The problem is the longer we take, the heavier it feels.
I know a man who has brought his secret for more than a decade. As he admitted to me, it was obvious that he wishes to be freed from the burden of immorality. A woman was hurt by his mother. When he finally forgave her mother, she soon experienced freedom from the burden.
Inspiration: Are you carrying the load now? Or if you want to load it to fix it, talk about it and begin to process it? Try to seek God - as husband and wife - to ask for His help and His recovery. Perhaps you are a heavy burden that would be lost.
Moment of Inspiration.
