"Then the people shouted, while the trumpet is blown; as soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, they shouted with a loud shout. The wall collapsed and the warriors into the city, each one straight ahead, and took the city. "(Joshua 6: 20)
God's way is the Magic - The walls of Jericho collapsed not because battered by human power, but by the power of God himself. It was the fulfillment of God's promise to Israel as He says to Joshua ('2). God's promises are always kept, unlike human beings who are often broken ('the promise of live pledge'). But the fulfillment process is absurd and truly beyond human logic. Maybe we think that God will deploy thousands of angels in order to demolish the walls of Jericho collapsed, or as when he burned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. But not what happened.
So it is true his words: "... my design is not a design you and your ways are not my ways, declares the Lord. Such as the heavens are higher than earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my draft of the draft you "(Isaiah 55: 8-9). He works according to His own way. God commanded the Israelites around the walls of Jericho for 7 days and on the 7th day they are required around the wall was 7 times ('15), finally "By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days" (Hebrews 11 : 30).
When they do God's bidding, certainly enemies mocked or scorned them, thought it was a stupid act. But Israel is not affected in the slightest, or stopped in the middle of the street, they faithfully doing what God's will. Because of their obedience, eventually the walls of Jericho was destroyed, and the city could be conquered by means of His miraculous.
When God says: "Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink," eat the Lord knows how to meet our needs, that although man is not possible.
Inspiration: The Lord is able to tear down the walls of the problems, worries sturdy walls that block us.
