"You are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody"
Present Being a Witness - Mitsuo Fuchido colonel, commander of the Japanese Navy aviator who led the invasion of 360 aircraft to Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 became a Christian after Japan's defeat in World War II. Narrated after the war he met with a group of former American prisoners of Japanese soldiers who returned to Japan and was surprised to meet a fellow pilot who is believed to have died in a sea battle before. The friend tells that while captive Americans, they are not tortured even a woman whose parents, missionaries killed by the soldiers in the war to serve them with genuine love and appreciation. Fuchida was deeply touched by this expression of love missionary child and through a series of events ultimately he trusted Christ.
Love shown by children missionaries, bringing Fucida to the conclusion that the Christian faith is a faith that is different from the lifestyle of the world. Cruel treatment rewarded with deeds of love. Paul reminded the Corinthians that the witness of their life is an open letter which can be read by others and evidence of his calling as an Apostle. As followers of Christ, our life is a life aquarium that is seen by all the people around us. Therefore, fight so that other people see the character of Christ in our lives. Do not stop living life in the light of God's Word. We are not alone because the Holy Spirit had been poured out as a helper for us. Pray that when people around us see the character of our lives they will come to a personal decision become followers of Christ.
Inspiration: Prove our faith through a lifestyle that reflects the character of the life of Christ.
