Life Is A Game

II Timothy 4: 7

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

Life Is A Game - One message the Apostle Paul to his spiritual son Timothy is delivered in the form of a letter. Readings today we want to explain that the Apostle Paul has given an example to Timothy about his life. Often in his writings, Paul uses the terminology of the sport as an illustration that explains the purpose and core writings. He never uses the illustration of a runner who must focus on the end goal, a boxer who should not be carelessly hit, but it should hit its target accurately. So that the ultimate goal can be achieved by either.

Rudy Hartono is one maestro badminton world level which is owned by Indonesia. Some time ago in a ministry, he delivered a statement: "In sport, though never a champion many times, but if you do not perform anymore, then the sports players must retire." The former badminton player ever to win the All England as much as 8 times ( 7 times in a row) is conveyed his testimony of how he finally had to hang up the racket and look for another job to be done later. In his testimony he said, but in this life, the game never stops. In God, there is no word retirement. What he meant was that as children of God, then every day we have to do things that are pleasing to God. If an athlete should retire because they do not perform again, a child of God never retired in a match of his life.

Motivation: Can we like the Apostle Paul, who in the end he said, "I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."? As children of God should be able to do it.

Moment of Inspiration.
