Hope to God

"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God! For I am grateful again hello to him, my help and my God! "

Psalm 43

Hope to God - This poem tells how the psalmist hope to God to help him in the act of injustice faced. He did not direct his attention towards the enemy and what they did to him, but rather focus his goal to God. He submitted to God to act against those who are unfair to him and he is happy to take refuge in God than to others. (1-2)

He asked God to guide him to the place where God is to be worshiped God so that he can be grateful and rejoice. Full joy when to meet God. God becomes the center of attention and a source of joy and excitement. The enemy can not rob her hope in God, the pressures and difficulties can not distract him to replace the role of God as the sovereign of her because God has the right to do everything not him.

As the psalmist is hoping God to act when injustice and distress experienced, let us also hope to God only when we experience distress and injustice. Because God is sovereign over our lives and for those who do injustice to us. Let us also ask God to draw us closer to Him so that we can be grateful and rejoice. If we direct attention to God then we will have the strength and the hope that God's promises for sure and never changes.

Reflection: God is sovereign over my life and not me.

Moment of Inspiration.
