Making of love often does not correspond to the real intent as the Bible teaches. Love is often interpreted for our own benefit, for being rewarded. You also sometimes negates the discipline to spoil the child to do what he pleases.

God's love is the love for human welfare, not for the welfare of God's love. Let us see what God teaches in His word of love; a way of life of people believe, a way of life for people who have been renewed in the love of Jesus Christ.

Love is the main element (verses 1-3). Maybe we think that the Christian ideal is someone who is great at preaching, or who have faith and prayer are outstanding, or that give great offerings. Paul said that despite of all this is good, but without love, no meaning.
Reflecting the love of the life of Christ (verses 4-7). The properties in this paragraph characterizing the peculiarities that exist in the life of Christ. This is the love that we must declare to be Christians.
Love is permanent (verses 8-10). Gift sought by humans such as prophecy, tongues and knowledge are only temporary in nature. All of the gift was not complete and it will pass. But love is permanent and perfect.
Love is proof of the maturity (verses 11-13). How long have we become Christians? The extent to which we have grown in terms of love? Proof of our maturity in Christ is love.
Love appears in a new way of life, which means that the most important in our lives (1 cor 12:31). This is the way that Jesus lived that we should also natural.

Inspiration: Let the love of Christ flow through us to others, then it will mature us.
