Let's look at the story in Luke 17: 11-19 is, about ten lepers who were healed by Jesus:
'On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing along between Samaria and Galilee.
When he entered a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance
and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
Then he looked at them and said: "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed.
One of them, when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice,
then fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked Him. That man was a Samaritan.
Then Jesus said: "Were not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
Are there not among those who returned to give praise to God except this foreigner? "
Then he said to him: "Stand up and go, your faith has saved you." '
When they experience pain-severe illness, they trooped to come to Jesus and shouted for him to cure their disease. They realize that Jesus has power to cure all diseases exist, therefore with confidence they cried and asked Jesus to cure his illness.
Not only that, they also follow the orders given by Jesus. They stepped out in faith and believe that they must be cured.
The lepers are cured of their disease. And already they ought grateful and came to Jesus to say thank you, and dedicate their lives to the glory of His name. But is not the case. It turns out only one out of ten people who come back to Jesus and glorify His name. Even Jesus was surprised and asked where other people who have been healed by Him.
We can see that the other blessing God has prepared for those who will be faithful to come to Him. Not only healing received by one person who returned it, but he also received another blessing that is thanks to the salvation of God.
Many people who when in trouble, they flocked to the church, diligently worship, prayer and follow every activity of any event held at the church. They thought that in that way they will get answers to the problems they face.
God is never in debt to every person who comes to Him, and ask Him cry. He will give an answer to every prayer and our struggles. But most people just forget to glorify the name of God when they have been separated from the problems that they face.
They began to reduce activities that had been followed. They began to busy with various things. And various reasons appear to avoid religious activities. Yet that was not what God wanted. God wants us to remain faithful and close to Him when we have been freed from all the problems. God wants us to increasingly intimate with him. And God longs for us to remain praise and glorify His name when we've received the answers to our prayers.
Never remove the grace of God when we have received an answer to our prayers. Do not forget how good God to us, because He has healed us, restore us, give us strength, give us work, give us success in career, gives us a solution to our business, and so forth.
Still keep our relationship with God even though we have received the answer to our problems. Never off guard, because the devil is always looking for opportunities in times when we guard. And when we maintain an intimate relationship with God, then God will pour out more blessings in our lives. Blessings that we never thought and never have we seen we will receive in our lives.
Let us always keep our relationship with God when He had given victory over the problems we face. Do not remove our loyalty to God and receive abundant blessings God has provided for us. Hallelujah!
